Time is passing too fast. Before you know it I am going to be two years old! I had a lot of fun this past month. I ate an excellent Thanksgiving dinner with my family. I loved the peas the best! I had a lot of fun decorating the Christmas tree - of course I enjoy taking the ornaments OFF the tree a lot more than putting them on. I am still sleeping well. I usually take one nap during the day (sometimes two) and go to sleep around 7:30pm and wake up between 6:30 and 7am. I am talking constantly. My favorite thing to say right now “mommy? You doing?” (Mommy what are you doing) and asking where someone is “where Grandma”. I actually started calling Erica “Auntie Erica” - it sounds more like “ani-air-ka” I love to dance. Anytime I hear music I must dance. Even if the music is coming from the car next to us. I love when Puppah puts on rock music and we sing and dance at night. I love to sing as well. I remember so many songs and surprise mommy by singing songs that she doesn’t even know! Mommy discovered just this morning that my two top molars came in! So that brings my total to 12 teeth and the doctor said two more on the bottom look like they will be here soon! I weigh 20 pounds 12 ounces, so I am still a tiny peanut - even though I love to eat. Yogurt is one of my favorites, green beans, peas, carrots, corn, lima beans, french fries, ketchup, ham, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and all kinds of fruit are also really good. I’ve also discovered chocolate covered pretzels and Mommy’s homemade Chex mix - YUM YUM!

This month I have learned how to throw a fit! Over the smallest things sometimes, usually when someone takes something away from me that I shouldn’t even have to begin with. I cry, I scream, I throw myself on the floor and make this noise that mommy likes to compare to ET when he is running away from Drew Barrymore. Sometimes the fits come without any reason. On the bright side - I like to sing all the time. I love rock music and love to sit with my Puppah and listen to music with him. I enjoy chasing Rocky and bossing him around - it’s pretty funny that I am the only person he listens to anymore as well. I have also discovered how to spin. Unfortunately it makes me dizzy, and since I am already unsteady on my feet - I always end up falling. Sometimes hard! I am eating pretty well, I enjoy french fries and chicken nuggets now. I also like to eat ketchup by the handfuls. I am starting to show interest in some tv shows and movies. Yo Gabba Gabba is one of my favorite shows and Finding Nemo is a movie I can’t stop talking about (although I haven’t watched more than 5 minutes at a time of it!) I love being outside and running around as much as possible.

Ella had her 15 Month appointment today. She now weighs 20 pounds and is 29 and 1/4 inches tall. She got 4 shots and a nice big fever along with it. Hopefully she will be better soon.

I now have 9 teeth. Four top front, four bottom front and a back left bottom molar. Mommy believes the right side one will come through soon as well. They are very different than my front teeth. I constantly play with it with my tounge and poke at it with my fingers. I have been eating pretty well lately. My favorite is deli turkey slices and mac and cheese. I also love “manas” which is my word for bananas at the moment. I am talking up a storm and even putting words together to say sentences and phrases. I will try to repeat every word that I am asked as well. I can say most of the alphabet, but with my short attention span I will randomly start and stop all the way through. I can count to 10. I also love to sing. I will try to sing along to everything! I still won’t drink milk from a sippy cup. I act like it’s poison and choking me any time someone tries to make me do it. I am brave enough to run now, which scares mommy like crazy! I like to run when I am outside on pavement - not on something soft. I love the outdoors. Anytime I see someone go outside I say “side side side” and insist that I go out as well. I can’t wait for it to cool down so I can be outside all the time. One of my new favorite things is to ride in the car with all the windows down so I get wind blown! My baby is my favorite toy, and I have started insisting on carrying my blanket with me everywhere - even outside.

I’m officially a walker. I like to walk everywhere and am even beginning to feel confident enough to try fast walking aka “ruuuuuuuun”. I talk constantly. I surprise everyone with what I said. I am not only just saying words - I actually say phrases. I’ve also started singing and I love to sing with my mommy. I can recite a lot of the alphabet and shock my family when I fill in when they stop singing. I can count as well! I know most of 1-10, altho I just fill in where I find it necessary. I’d rather listen to other people count for me. I started to like my sunglasses this month and enjoy sitting in the car with them on. I’m eating well these days. I love Dora and Diego yogurts - they are my favorite. I got to go to my Auntie Erica’s house this month and spend some time playing with my friend Halle. I also got to meet the “new kid on the block” Corgan - he slept the whole time though! I also got my first pair of real walking shoes this month. Mommy decided it was time for my feet to be sheltered. It took me a while to get used to them - but now I love my shoes! I love to say “shoes on” anytime I see my socks to shoes. My new favorite activity is when Mommy tries to put on my shoes when she’s running late and I keep pulling my socks off or my feet out of my shoes!

I got to go on my very first plane ride this month. We flew up to Massachusetts to visit my family. I met so many new people and learned so many new things! I am still not walking, although I am very close. I took my first real steps on August 4th, 2007. I like to walk between my family members and sometimes I will surprise them by just taking off and walking towards a toy or the TV. I say so many things now - everyone thinks I am quite the chatterbox. Here are some of the words I sat often: mum, mommy, mom, mama (and all the variations of the words), hello, hi, byebye, Bobo, Puppah, up, down, car, Cherrios, bottle, no, puppy, Rocky, Erica, drink, blanket, thank you, yes, yeah, night night, nap, ball, cake, cookie, bear, open, close, egg, bread, mac (for mac and cheese), oli oli oli (for ravioli), good girl, walk, book, hair, truck, choo-choo, over, beep, boo, fish, duck, wait, stop, drink, juice, baby and a few others I’m sure I am forgetting. I respond with the sounds of duck (quack quack), bird (tweet tweet), cow (mooo), cat (meow), monkey (ohhh ohhh), puppy (oof) when asked. I am very attached to my lobster stuffed animal, books, cell phone and walking toys. I am definitely bored of baby food and always looking for something else. I have 6 teeth and it looks like 2 more on the bottom will be breaking through shortly. I think I will be walking very soon!

This year went by too quickly! I am one year old and mommy still remembers this day last year like it was yesterday! But wow I have grown so much! I say so many words now: bear, duck, hello (usually combined with a hand to my ear as if I am talking on a phone), hi, bye, more, no, Bobo, bottle, book, peach, apple, ‘oli (that’s for ravioli), cheese, drink, juice, up, down, Oreo (the babysitter’s dog), I say three when my family counts - one… two… and I yell three! And of course the new family favorite “no duh” - which I picked up after hearing only once. I eat so much these days. I love real oatmeal with small apples cut in to it - no more of this baby stuff! I enjoy the toddler meals - especially the mac and cheese - my favorite! Green beans, carrots, peas and corn are also good. I just apparently didn’t like pureed veggies! I still love all my fruits - my current favorite is blueberries - I can’t get enough of those! My favorite toy right now is my bear. My next door neighbors gave him to me for Christmas and I really didn’t show an interest in him till a few weeks ago - now I drag him everywhere! My glow worm comes in a close second. I still only have 5 teeth and keep tricking mom in to thinking the 6th tooth has broken the skin! I do very well standing on my own, but am not ready to start walking. I am still VERY unsteady. I like to push toys (mainly a plastic stool) around and walk behind it. I am still a dancing machine and love music. Happy Birthday To Me!!!
